报告人简介：

      高博士在2009年及2011年于清华大学水利水电工程系分别获得学士和硕士学位，2011-2013年在浙江省水利河口研究院从事助理工程师2年，在2016年于香港科技大学取得博士学位。读博和工作期间，主要从事水动力模型研发和灾害模拟的研究。主要研究方向包括气候变化与降雨时空演变规律及分布特征分析；地表、近地土壤的水文回应机制分析方法；多重灾害的数值模拟，包括洪水，风暴潮，滑坡，水动力与水质数值模拟计算。相关成果发表国际期刊论文20余篇，其中一作/通讯作者SCI论文10篇，成果发表在《Hydrology and Earth System Sciences》、《Landslides》、《Engineering Geology》等国际顶级期刊。并获得澳门科学技术发展基金、澳门大学基金及港澳海洋研究中心的项目资助。

报告简介：

      In a changing climate, extreme meteorological events become more frequent. Intense rainstorms or severe typhoon events will pose high flood risks to many cities, including Macao. Quantifying the magnitude and duration of floods is essential for flood risk management. The satellite- and gauge-based rainfall data has been evaluated and assimilated. The precipitation products and their influence on the flood prediction are estimated. The compound floods caused by typhoon-induced storm surge and concurrent rainfall can be simulated using a coupled numerical model, which has been verified based on the observations during Typhoon Hato.
