报告人简介：

      Prof. Joo-Heon LEE is currently a director of Drought Research Center and the head of the department of civil engineering at Joonbu University in Korea. Dr. Lee has released 72 research articles including 《International Journal of Climatology》, 《Hydrological Processes》, and 《Stochastic Environmental Research and Risk Assessment》. He won a number of prizes, for instance, the Prize of the Minister of Construction and Transportation and the Prize of the Minister of Education in Korea. Dr. Lee has carried out more than 70 domestic and overseas projects regarding the maintenance and prediction of drought, prevention of natural disaster, management and planning of water resources, or development of water resources. Major projects it is dealing with include researches on drought and climatic change, policy for water resources, and ecological and river environment. It is being actively involved in researching into droughts in East Asia and Africa including Korea, Kenya, Ethiopia, Laos, or Cambodia.
