Introduction of Professor Hubert H. G. Savenije：
Dr Savenije is currently President of IAHS and Chair Professor of Hydrology at Delft University of Technology Uncertainty. He is mainly engaged in hydrology and water resources research and has a high academic status in the international field of Hydrological Sciences. He has published 176 SCI papers, including 124 papers in field of hydrology and water resources, and 53 of them were published in the Water Resources Management. His productive research work in regards to the process of terrestrial hydrological cycle in rivers, deltas and
estuaries in each continent, as well as the effects of global climate change has achieved tangible results. Because of his outstanding contributions and great achievements in the field of Hydrological Sciences, Earth System Sciences (HESS), one of the top hydrology magazines, engaged him as the executive editor in 2004. In 2008, he was awarded Darcy Medal (Darcy medal) by Europe Earth Sciences (EGU), which is the European Union's top international award. In 2013, he was elected as President of the International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS).

Hubert H. G. Savenije教授，水文学博士学位，现为国际水文科学协会主席，荷兰代尔夫特理工大学水文学领域首席教授。在国际水文科学领域具有崇高的学术地位，主要从事水文水资源研究，公开发表SCI论文176篇，其中关于水文水资源领域有124篇；在Water Resources Management杂志上发表53篇；其针对世界各大洲的河流、三角洲、河口区域等水文陆地循环过程、全球气候变化影响等方面进行了相当多的科学研究，取得了很多具有重要研究意义的成果。由于其在水文科学领域的突出贡献和杰出成就，在2004被聘为Hydrology and Earth System Sciences (HESS)水文学顶级杂志执行主编，2008年获得欧洲顶级国际大奖欧洲地球科学联合会（EGU）达西奖章（Darcy medal ），2013年被选举成为国际水文科学协会主席。Hubert H. G. Savenije教授多次受邀在国际会议和世界知名大学做特邀报告。
