5月21-22日，“武汉大学-滑铁卢大学-中国地质大学水环境联合研讨会”在武汉召开。会议由武汉大学、中国地质大学（武汉）、加拿大滑铁卢大学主办和组织。实验室副主任熊立华教授主持开幕式，武汉大学副校长谈广鸣教授和滑铁卢大学著名地下水专家Bob Gillham教授分别致辞。来自武汉大学、滑铁卢大学和中国地质大学的专家学者70余人参加了研讨会。

       会议专家围绕水环境主题就近期研究课题分别作了精彩的学术报告，会议三方就后期的国际合作运行机制展开深入讨论，并就教育、科研等方面达成初步合作意向。此举有利于充分发挥各校教育科研特长，加快教师和师资队伍的建设,促进青年教师科研项目的国际化发展。

Joint Workshop on Water Research

1. About the workshop

Joint Workshop on Water Research aims to provide an academic exchange platform for scientists and research scholars at home and abroad in the field of water research, and promote discuss about related research. Endeavoring to solve the problem of water resources, the workshop will enhance international communication and cooperation through presentations and discussions.
