高科,2010年本科毕业于中国地质大学(武汉)地质工程实验班。2017年在加拿大多伦多大学获得博士学位,主要研究方向为Tensor-based stress variability characterization and simulation in fractured rock masses。此后在美国Los Alamos国家实验室从事博士后研究。目前以第一作者和通讯作者在Geophysical Research Letters, Journal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth和International Journal of Rock Mechanics and Mining Sciences等期刊上发表SCI论文10篇。
报告简介:
In situ stress is an important parameter in rock mechanics, but localized measurements often display significant variability. To incorporate such stress variability into probabilistic related analyses in rock mechanics, robust approaches for stress variability characterization are essential components and prerequisites. Currently, variability of stress is customarily characterized by processing principal stress magnitude and orientation separately. However, this could generate incorrect results. As stress is a second-order tensor, it should be processed based on tensor components. This work proposes and develops a series of tensor-based robust approaches, such as mean stress calculation, multivariate statistical distribution model, random tensor generation and scalar-valued measure of overall stress variability, to characterize stress variability in fractured rock masses.
