报告人简介:

      Dr. Zhang is an Associate Professor of Kochi University. He is also now appointed as an Adjunct Associate Professor ofEhimeUniversityand a Part-time Lecturer of Kyoto University.

      Dr. Zhang was born inJingzhou,HubeiProvince. He graduated fromTsinghuaUniversity(Beijing,China) where he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Hydraulic Engineering and a Minor Degree in Computer Science & Engineering in 2000. He completed his graduate study inKyotoUniversity(Kyoto,Japan) and obtained a Doctoral Degree in Civil Engineering in 2005. Dr. Zhang is in charge of the Laboratory of Hydroscience and Engineering of Kochi University and his research fields include environmental hydraulics, sediment transport and flood/inundation modeling. Dr. Zhang published more than 70 peer-reviewed papers in domestic and international journals and received several distinguished awards from academic societies both inJapanand overseas. He is the Secretary of the Shikoku Branch of Japan Society of Civil Engineers and Shikoku Regional Secretary of the Committee on Hydroscience and Hydraulic Engineering, Japan Society of Civil Engineers. He is also serving as an Associate Editor of International Journal of Erosion Control Engineering and an Editorial Board Member of International Journal of Sediment Research.
